I thought I was being a good consumer and comapred the "product name" and "model" and looked it up on the web site. There was no mention of any difference in features or functions. If they do in fact have the same models with different features that is deceptive marketing. I suspect what you are referring to is a model made for a shopping chanel. Sometimes they get something special. I use it every day and do like it but still like I said the model I bought could have been netter. I'd be curious what models have the improvements. And it is not that hard to take it apart and clean it...I attach the little tool to the side of my refrigerator...it is magnetic. Never gets lost that way.
