Writing aint so bad

I was talking with a friend on the phone yesterday and we reminisced about our childhoods. Somehow we got to our lives at present and how we are doing what we love to do and earning a living doing it.
That reminded me about my childhood, where often for fun myself and friends would do collaborative creative writing projects. Not your typical creative writing as we’d each write a paragraph and then the other would pick up and embellish and create a work of fiction that most often was pretty far out there. We really had fun with it and our minds stretched for our young age and realy deleivered some funny and bizarre stuff.
Also, when I was a kid growing up in Chicago, I always had a passion for recording. Using my old trusty cassette recorder (remember the 3 for a dollar cassettes???) myself and my friends did a lot of recording. Fun stuff! Mostly fake dating shows and odd interview shows and all manner of odd things. Yes, we even did the Jerky Boys thing and recorded some crank phone calls. ah those were the days.
As myself and my friends got oder we started using movie cameras and filmed fake commercials and short movies. hat a blast! Not long ago I saw some of those! Wild stuff!
The thing is I still do a lot of those kinds of things! Like right now I am writing. I have blogs and I write articles on internet marketing, tv, music and entertainment and all types of topics! I also record audio conversations and training both audio and video.
Funny how things haven’t changed that much – hey – guess what – we just had an earthquake – pretty wild – theysay 5.8 in Chino Hills (preliminary).
That was wild! It rocked and rolled for about 10 seconds – I tried to get Milo to follow me outside but he stayed where he was.
No damage – but my speakers on the stands were winging back and forth. No worries though – all seems fine here in Laguna Beach – no dmage in my house or from one of my neighbers…. A good jolt for Southern California!
