Eveything Slows Down in the Summer

Eveything Slows Down in the Summer AND ESPECIALLY around HOLIDAYS!
The July 4th holiday just passed us by and for those of us in the USA that means we’ve mostl ikely been playing around more than working. I admit that happens with me a little, but some people take it to the extreme and basically become inaccessible for days or even weeks surrounding a holiday.
Me, I admit it, I tend to spend more time in the outdoors and because it is so warm and nice out there. I tend to stop working long before dark.
Having worked in the online biz for a number of years I know from experience that Summer is also the slowest time of year for business in general. Some niches of course make more in the Summer but most business slows down. Especially those that depend on people sitting in front of their computers. Face it – it’s just too hot to do that in summer! As a result it is natural for sales volume to drop in the hottes months of the year.
My philosophy has always been that this is the BEST time of the year to start planning and working for the Fall and Winter months which tend to bring in the most revenue.
What better time than now to start working on Thanksgiving and Halloween and Christmas themed niches. Now is the time to plant the seeds so that in a few months when everyone else STARTS to think about the 4th quarter – WE are already in place with web sites and articles and rankings! THAT’S the way to do it!
So, while we all deserve to play in the hot Summer sun – take a few moments each day to also think ahead and work on something that will bring you results a few months ahead!
